There’s a natural inclination to avoid pain. We protect ourselves from physical and emotional hurt—usually at all costs. But pain is a gift with the right perspective.
A seed must die for a plant to grow. Unless a kernel falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
Pain is not a permanent condition in and of itself. It tells us that something in our lives requires healing. In other words, we are literally feeling dis-ease with the misalignment of our physical reality with our spiritual truth of unconditional love.
