The old testament is about God's promise and the new testament is about its fulfillment. Scripture mirrors our condition from birth and the necessary transformation back to God's intended creation.

The fulfillment of God's promise comes through our receiving the atonement, the price paid for our redemption. Receiving, however, does not come through belief alone, but through surrender and yielding to the work of His Spirit in us and in our lives.

Atonement brings us back in union with God. Truth is, ATONEMENT is At-One-Ment.

1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit."
