All that God created, especially His children, operate for the purpose of God’s glory. Our highest purpose is to reflect Him and His ways through our thoughts, choices, words, and actions.
However, we can never achieve our highest purpose by simply knowing and heeding God's will. It is essential that we yield to God and let Him operate through us, for apart from Him, we can do nothing.
When we were told to be still and know that He is God, we were reminded that being extensions of "the vine" we need to be in regular communication with Him.
Communication is the process of being one: comm=with, uni=one, ation=process.
Romans 11:36 "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen."
John 15:5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
