We are familiar with the old saying "It is always darkest before dawn."
No one wants to experience hardship. But even as we wait in the darkness, we have a reason for hope. Our faith is not just in a comforting saying, but in the truth that God meets us where we are, and creates something new and bright out of our darkness, out of our troubles.
Even now, living amidst the pandemic seems very dark. Most of us are scared because we don’t know how long this is will last, but the sun always rises. The day always dawns. The darkness doesn’t get the final say. God does.
Romans 13:12 "The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right."
