experience love

The common and popular understanding of the burning bush story in Exodus is that when Moses asked God’s for His name He said “I am that I am”

I "am" is understood yet linguistically impossible. The Hebrew language does not have a word for the present tense of the verb "to be": there is no word for "am" or "is" or "are."

What the LORD is literally saying to Moses in Exodus is: "I will be [or become] who [or what] I will be [or become]"

Contemplating on this, together with us being created in God’s image, spawns the epiphany: “I am” is the experience that God, in the pureness of His being love, calls us to.

John 17:21 “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.”
