One condition our upbringing has taught us is the importance of achievement and destination. Even our Christian instruction teaches the primacy of the prize to be won or achieved.
In our life journey, God is in every step and in every direction. We may arrive or not, we may arrive late or early. It’s not the arrival nor the direction that matters, it’s God!
The abundant life God promised is not a prize conditioned upon any effort on our part to achieve. The abundant life is His love and presence He unconditionally lavishes upon us every step of the way.
1 John 4:9 "This is how God loves us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live THROUGH Him."
