faith, hope, and love

God is love and He gives us love from Himself. God is not faith, nor is He hope. He does not have faith or hope, as a part of Himself, to give to us. Rather, He gives us the revelation (knowledge) of Himself that produces faith and hope in us.

The difference between faith and hope is that faith is a profound belief in a concrete, yet currently invisible reality, and hope is an attitude about waiting for that reality to become visible.

The Spirit of Christ is with us always, and with Him comes vibrant faith, hope, and love within us until we finally live eternally in the fullness of God's love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 "Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love."
