When it is true, falling in love is complete and without obstructions; we uncover and express the most profound and untamed aspects of our being. We awaken our ability to fully surrender, be exposed and vulnerable; we relinquish all means to feel safe and in control; and find the courage to love without guarantees or requirements.
We discover an abiding presence in our emotional center, and from then on, we never again feel emotionally disconnected, incomplete, or unloved.
Such is the encounter with love, all learned and conditioned fear is silenced. But living in a world and life of lies and illusions, we sometimes succumb to fear, and the power of truth and love is kept in our inmost sanctuary until we are perfected.
1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."
