We usually thank God after something good happens. But gratitude before provisions and blessings is not only powerful, it is awe-filled faith.
Faith is not just believing God can do something. Faith is not just hoping He will do something. Faith is thanking God in advance.
Our best example of this is Jesus. He thanked God before two very important miracles, feeding the multitude and raising Lazarus from the grave.
Gratitude in advance is following the instruction and adopting the mindset of Jesus who, unlike us, has the full measure of God.
Mark 11:24 "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours."
Matthew 9:29 “Because of your faith, it will happen.”
