Abundance is constant flow and flow is where life is. Every living being has movement, growth, and change. God is the Divine Wave and all creation mirrors His nature. As above, so below; as within, so without; each part contains and mirrors the whole. If the cosmos as we know it originates from a “Big Bang” that means that one point explodes with life and gives birth to the many lives
The relational pattern of the universe teaches us that the shape of the cosmos—quasar to quark—is a reflection of the Trinitarian God. We recognize and participate in this reality by letting go of what we know and how we think and remain curious and open. We rightly speak of faith as a “gift” as opposed to any reasoned conclusion. We fall into it more than reason toward it.
We are standing in the middle of an awesome and major Mystery—life itself—and the only appropriate response to this is humility. If we’re resolved that this is where we want to go—into the Mystery, not trying to hold God and reality but to let God and reality hold us—then religion is finally in its proper and appropriate place. Anyone who has experienced God is humble; in fact, they are the most humble of all.
Job 12:7-10 “Just ask the animals, and they will teach you. Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you. Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish in the sea speak to you. For they all know that my disaster[a] has come from the hand of the Lord. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.”
