As it is usually, our transient prayer time tends to be mostly about us — absorbed with “telling God” about our troubles, needs, and wants. While lovingly received by God, we forget that God already knows all about us.
Often, we are inappropriately occupied with earning God’s approval by our “good works,” when all the while, we have already been given God’s kingdom — bought and paid for by the blood of our Savior.
We can fully trust in Him. God is profoundly interested in receiving us, never in rejecting us, no matter what our fears and doubts may be.
Luke 12:32 “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom."
