Love is the essence of all creation and loving is the deepest truth about each of us.
True love deepens into a love that expresses the soul's yearning and its joyous fulfillment is being in the love of the Divine - a love that never dies and through which we live life everlasting.
An etymological study of the beloved apostle John's Gospel, specifically Chapter 3 verse 16, is revealing. In what most have called the summary of the entire Bible in a single verse, John used the word "pistévo" which means to be in complete union with.
John 3:16 "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who IS IN COMPLETE UNION WITH HIM will not perish but have eternal life."

Γιατί έτσι αγάπησε ο Θεός τον κόσμο: Έδωσε τον μονογενή του Υιό, για να μη χαθεί όποιος πιστεύει σε αυτόν, αλλά να έχει αιώνια ζωή.
Giatí étsi agápise o Theós ton kósmo: Édose ton monogení tou Yió, gia na mi chatheí ópoios pistévei se aftón, allá na échei aiónia zoí.
