We have a tendency to always be preoccupied with anxieties and worries, but we could train our minds by more frequent, pure enjoyment of each present-moment situation.
Although we are in states of enjoyment when we are very grateful for things unexpected or undeserved, we could also be grateful by enjoying the common, simple things as they occur, for truly, all is grace.
All we need to “be grateful” for the good in our lives is to allow ourselves to be fully present for it. Enjoyment is presence, presence is reverence, and reverence is gratitude.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
Psalm 95:2 "Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving."
