In intimacy, there is complete openness, trust, and giving of oneself.
Nothing can be as liberating, life-giving, and transformative as intimacy.
Intimacy awakens in us our beauty and fullest potential; it is the life-breath into who we truly are.
In intimacy with God we:
- Are open, vulnerable, and honest
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
- Grow in wisdom
1 Corinthians 1:30 "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption."
- Stay still and listen
Psalm 37:7 “Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act.”
