listen and yield

We may be accustomed to speaking to God in prayer, but a personal relationship with Him teaches us to be still, teaches us to meditate, teaches us to listen, teaches us to yield to Him.

A personal relationship with God develops in us what He so lovingly desires - that we listen to His prompts and directions, that we open up to receive His wisdom, grace, and blessings, that we yield to the transforming power of His love.

John 10:27-28 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me."

Matthew 6:33 "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need."
