love emerges

God’s very own life shared with us and residing within us is the Holy Spirit (John 20:22). When we truly pray, we are resolutely refusing to abandon the Presence that knows we are beloved and one with God. However, our insecure, false self is so needy that we are deceived with the compulsion to practice living in this presence through conscious choice and pleading (prayer.)

Contemplation is “our daily bread” that keeps us nourished so we could remain in and trust the Divine Indwelling.

The True Self is beyond being hurt or offended, while our false ego-dependent self is offended very often. By being aware of what goes on whenever we are offended, we are trained to gradually reside more and more in our Truth.

Contemplation helps us to rest in God’s love; and as we gradually take on the likeness of love, we begin to see who we truly are. That is why Jesus commanded us to love. It is necessary for the mirroring process! Only our inner state of love is able to receive and reflect the ultimate Love of God.

When we fall in love, we begin to see our self in the person we love. Spirit recognizes Spirit. Knowing the Truth means we abide in that Truth, and the deepest Truth of every human is Love, for we are created in the image and likeness of an infinitely Loving God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
