love is change

Nothing remains the same; ninety-eight percent of the atoms of our body are replaced every year. Water remains the same, although with different forms at different stages and temperatures. What, unfortunately, often looks like death to us, Resurrection is actually another word for positive change.

Science is beginning to discover what religion rightly perceived and illustrated with mythological language. Myth has been commonly misunderstood to mean “not true,” it actually refers to things that are always and deeply true.

The incarnate life of Jesus, his death, and his resurrection into the ongoing Christ-life is the model for the pattern of all creation.

Most of us, especially in our youth, do not seem to think we need a model. But, the inconsistencies and disappointments of life eventually make us long for some overall direction, purpose, or goal beyond mere survival.

The physical resurrection of Jesus affirms what the whole physical and biological universe is revealing and grounds it in one personality.

We need to grow in the acceptance of the Resurrection practically and materially. All matter is eternal, and when our creed says we believe in the “resurrection of the body,” it means our bodies too, from mortal to immortal.

Philippians 3:20-21 “But, we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.”
