love over death

Death is one of man's greatest fears, yet one of life’s greatest mysteries. Whenever we encounter death, there is always a sense of tragedy. There is a deep sense of death being an unwanted reality.

Death, however, was never part of God’s original plan (Wisdom 1:13-15). It entered the world as a consequence of sin. (Romans 6:23)

Sin is giving in to lies and illusions; it is something we do and initiate. The only restorative to sin and all its consequences and trappings is to return to truth, to love, to God.

Through this freely chosen act of accepting death on our behalf, in obedience to the father, Jesus transformed the curse of death into a blessing. “By dying he destroyed our death, by rising he restored our life.” (1 Corinthians 15:56-57)

John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
