1 Corinthians 13:7 "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Love bears all things. Much as it helps us withstand all that life brings, it also gives birth to the most fruitful and life-giving.
Love believes all things by orienting us toward the highest possible outcome in any situation and helping us strive for its actualization.
Love hopes all things, not to end-results but to a source of strength that wells up from deep within us independent of all outcomes. A hope that can never be taken away because it is love itself working in us.
Finally, love endures all things. Everything that is tough shatters; everything that is cynical rots. The only way to endure is to forgive, over and over, fully open for new beginnings which is the very essence of love itself.
Such is God's love and our destined oneness with Him. Such is the gift we are provided, the embodiment of true love. A conscious love that ever-deepens and becomes more and more rooted.
