our radiance

Guilt robs us of joy and prevents us from enjoying intimacy with God.

Guilt and shame are never from God, they are merely the defenses of the False Self, our ego, as it is shocked at its own poverty. It is so entrenched in judging that it goes to the extent of our destructive self-condemnation.

As faith, far more than belief, is surrender, so must we yield to the perfecting transformation of the Holy Spirit in us. Living in guilt and shame is indicative of our non-surrender.

Jesus was consistently and heroically concerned with the healing of human shame, fear, and guilt, leading to his final and full identification with all human shame on the cross—so we ourselves could become, as Paul says, “the very goodness of God”

2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

Galatians 2:20 "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me."
