The commandments set the minimum standard of faith, they are meant to prevent us from missing the mark (greek hamartia, old English synn); but the virtues are of the higher standard we must aspire for.
Our life-journey is a return to where peace, love, and abundance are constant. It is a return to innocence, a return back to the garden, a return back to the per-son we truly are.
