God is love and His trinitarian being is the relational nature of God's love. Our participation in this relationship is to be in flow and to receive.
Our very act of loving others is a participation in God's creative stream of love. It is not our love we give others, but God Himself that we share.
The unending narrative of creation and the universe is the outpouring of love, God's giving away of Himself. Unfortunately, in our understanding of our life purpose, we have forgotten that we are receivers and participants in God's love-work.
This is why God lovingly instructed us to be still; that we may savor the wonder of and be perfected by His presence and nature.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”
