Within us all there is a yearning for radiance. A desire to shine brightly with a sense of value that is beyond ourselves. As divine children, we did not dream about becoming average or ordinary. Instead, we dreamt about the amazing things we could do with our lives.
As reborn adults with an awakened passion in our hearts, we once again imagine all of the ways our lives could be filled with the extraordinary. We begin to envision exciting, hope-filled pictures of the life of purpose that lies before us.
“Arise, be radiant! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you. For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and His glory will appear over you" (Isaiah 60 1-2)
