Self-worth- differs from self-esteem. Self-worth is what we are born with. As children of God, we are worthwhile and have value, which cannot be taken from us. We can lose sight of it, but we can never lose the eternal Truth within us - the state of Grace that is our True condition.
Self-worth is the foundation of our ability to believe in ourselves; it is the portal through which self-esteem is received.
A valid sense of self-worth, a healthy self-esteem, is necessary in order to attain love, peace, joy - the abundant life we were promised.
Self-esteem plays the largest part in the way we set our standards – in love and in life. It is the most powerful asset we possess. Our self-worth is our spiritual equity.
Ephesians 1:4 "Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes."
