Self-love is often misunderstood by many as selfishness. In truth, self-love sets the foundation for what we need to wholeheartedly connect with others.
By realizing truth and drawing from God's Kingdom within us, not only does our relationship with Him thrive, our love for self flourishes providing us the heart and spirit to love others selflessly.
Herein lies the paradoxical wisdom behind the second great commandment to love others as we love our self.
Proverbs 19:8 "To acquire wisdom is to love yourself; people who cherish understanding will prosper."
