The world that the blind see is imagined. The spiritually blind use judgment to infer what could otherwise be seen by the vision of the spiritually awake.
Judgment always gives false directions, but vision shows us where to go.
The blind become accustomed to their imagined world. They think they know their way in it through the stern necessity of limits they believe they could not overcome. They hate the world they learned through pain. And everything they think is in it serves to remind them that they are incomplete and bitterly deprived.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light and to walk in the light is to bring our life into alignment with God – that His Word becomes our life - a life of peace, bliss, and abundance.
John 12:35-36 “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.”
