From Genesis to Revelation, the pages of the Bible proclaim that God is love, and that the primary characteristic of God’s kingdom is love.
While we speak about God’s kingdom coming in power, it is in the power of love that God’s kingdom transforms the world.
God’s love in Jesus is transformative, and when we, as God’s people, live out our love through sacrificial actions and vulnerability toward both the loveable and the unlovable, then we will see the transformative power of God’s kingdom come in and through us.
The transformation of the world through the power of God's love and the establishment of His kingdom began with Jesus' sacrificial and redemptive death on the cross.
Revelation 11:15 “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
John 3:16 "For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
