Biblical wisdom refuses to reject the dark side of things, but forgives failure and merges transgression to achieve wholeness.
Jesus is never upset at “sinners”; but with people who do not think they are sinners! Jesus is fully accustomed to a tragic sense of life. The very heart of Jesus’ message is His ability to find a higher order inside constant disorder. This is why the spirit of the Gospel heals and renews all that it touches.
Compassionate love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). Mature spirituality is about returning to and dwelling in compassion. This is the wisdom of constant and infinite forgiveness, the “twin flame” of love.
Matthew 18:21-22 “Then Peter came to him and asked, ‘Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?’ ‘No, not seven times,’ Jesus replied, ‘but seventy times seven!’”
