The apex of the glory of God is the grace of God.
God intended that grace would be the pinnacle of His glory and this was His plan even before creation.
God chose us in Christ, before the foundation of the world to the praise of grace. Grace was the point of all creation.
The exhortation for us to be in the world but not of it was not meant for us to rely on our own resolve and power but on His grace.
2 Timothy 1:9 "For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus."
