The magi’s gifts to Jesus were Gold for His royalty, Frankincense for His deity, and Myrrh for His humanity. All were meant to declare and confirm His Truth and His earthly mission.

Unlike Christ, in order for us to receive divine empowerent, we need to place ourselves in a position of submission and openness to the Holy Spirit, as in meditation - to "be still" as He instructed.

We receive spiritual gifts; supernatural empowerments given by the Holy Spirit that we may become "disciples of all the nations."

Matthew 2:11 "They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh."
