The doctrine of the univocity of being, Deus est ens, God is being itself. The belief that we can speak “with one voice” of the being of all creation and God. That God is one, and thus reality is one, as well.
This helps us understand the sacredness of and our connection with everything. Our DNA is already divine; that is why we naturally seek to know and love God. Simply put, there has to be a little bit of something inside us for us to be attracted to it; like knows like. We are what we are looking for!
We long for fullness, for abundance; for that is the nature of the life we live and the love within us.
Ephesians 4:4 "For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future."
